Mario Party is the quintessential party game in the video game world. Since its inception on the Nintendo 64, it has been bringing friends together to compete against each other to see who can win more stars in the numerous mini-games the game has to offer.
This will be the first Mario Party game to be released since November of 2013 when Mario Party: Island Tour was released for the Nintendo 3DS. It is also the first home console addition to the franchise since Mario Party 9 was released on the Nintendo Wii in 2012.
The gameplay is pretty much the same as any other title in the Mario Party franchise, in which the player controls a character travelling across a board The player (or players) then complete mini-games competing for stars, which are required to win the game.
The new game will also have a new mode called Amiibo party. In this mode the players will place a Mario Party 10 Amiibo on the rf scanner on the Wii U game pad, then they control them on a specially designed Amiibo game board.
The new game is another first party game that will more than likely make Nintendo a decent profit on the WiiU, some are ven speculating that it could cause some to move over to the console, simply to enjoy another wonderful Nintendo IP. What do you think of the news that Mario Party 10 will be released in just 20 days? Leave a reply in the comment section below.
