Keep an eye out for Firewatch, a game in the makings with a lot of promise.
The game is centered around mystery in the wilderness of Wyoming. You play as a man named Henry who has taken a job in the middle of nowhere with practically no human contact after wanting to retreat from his prior life, his job is to stay in a tower in the wilderness and check the surrounding area for forest fires after what has been an especially dry summer. Your supervisor, a woman named Delilah, is the only person with whom you have contact with making your relationship with her completely essential to staying sane as she is the only connection you have to the outside world. Things go well until they go strange, and you are drawn into the wilderness with only the company of the secretive Delilah by walkie talkie.
The game is a single player with a first person point of view and so far stunning graphics. Campo Santo is developing the game while its being published with both Campo Santo and Panic Inc.
No release date has yet been set but the estimated release time is sometime in 2015, and though little has been seen from the game itself what has been released is enough to draw people in the earlier developmental stages. Platforms for now include Windows, Mac, and Linux, though, Campo Santo has stated that they want to get the game out to as many people as possible and are looking into prospective deals with platforms. No pre-orders are available currentlym though at the games main website it allows you to sign up for emails to receive status updates on the status of the game.
