We all love fuzzy and soft dogs and cats but, sometime we want to see more wild, exotic animals which is why we go to the zoo. Things are about the get wild!
San Diego Zoo
The San Diego Zoo is one of the more famous zoos in America. It first began to get its exotic animals in 1915 after the Panama-California Exposition when they were abandoned. This zoo is filled with fun things to do including giraffe feedings, animal encounters, and the elephant care center.
St. Louis Zoo
This zoo all started with the popularity of the Bird Cage and now has become one of Missouri’s most famous travel destinations. This zoo has grown tremendosly in the years now with six differnt sections in this park full of animals including Rivers Edge where you may see some cheetahs, hippos, and elephants. The Wild full of penguins, polar bears gorillas and more. Discovery Corner home of the Emerson Childrens zoo and more insects than you could imaine.Historic Hill were you can take a walk through the bird house. Red Rocks full of big cats and zebras. And last but not least Lakeside Crossing were you can feed sting rays and hang out with some sea lions.
This zoo is one of the largest metropolitan zoos in the world. With its opening on November 8, 1899 the zoo has grown to have 550 differnt species. Here you have the chance to feed penguins and sea lions and even ride a camel if you want.
Zoos are something that people of all ages love and are great for everyone. Going to any of these zoos will for sure take you on one wild ride.
